Spring Is Here!

Spring is here at the Newman Center! We are two weeks into the Spring 2010 semester, and things have gotten off to a great start!  On Friday, February 5th we had our first monthly College Adoration. The adoration was a great success and 12 students ate some delicious pizza while breaking in the new 54″ HDTV in the sidetrack.

That is just the beginning of this exciting semester!

Our first Theology on Tap of the semester is happening on Thursday, February 11th with Jeff Weinrich speaking.  We will be discussing apologetics, which Jeff just so happens to be very knowledgable with.  Theology on Tap will be held at the Round Table Pizza on Mangrove Ave.

Coming up on February 13th, the Newman Center students are invited to visit the New Clairvaux Monastery to experience their “Little Hour” prayer as well as receive a tour of the grounds.

The spring retreat for the Newman Center will be taking place on March 5th and 6th.  All of the Student Leaders are working hard on making this retreat one of the best yet!  Sign ups will be happening VERY soon. This semester’s theme is Open My Eyes.  Keep checking back here for more updates.

These are just a few of the activities we have planned for the Newman Center in Spring 2010. Keep checking back for more!

Mass Time Change!

Our Sunday morning Mass is now at 10:30am, NOT at 10am~ Thank you for your patience as we move Mass times!
